Thomas is a little blue train who lives on The Island Of Sodor. He originated from 'The Railway Series' books written by Wilbert and Christopher Awdry. The books were adapted in 1983 to a television series by Britt Allcroft based off the books and also featuring brand new stories. The television show continues to air today globally.
